HELP 4 WV offers services throughout West Virginia, focusing on treatment for addictions and mental health care. HELP 4 WV has 80 professional therapists in its provider network.
A snack will be provided in the commons area immediately after school for those participating in the tutoring program. In addition, those staying must sign in on the sheets designated for the session they will be attending. Students must have a signed consent forms in order to participate in the program. If you do not have these forms, see Mrs. Porter in the Library. There will be bus transportation on the main roads to Stepptown and Prichard and a third bus will be assigned as needed. Those having questions, please see Mrs. Porter or Hazel Damron. The Library will be open on Wednesdays for those needing to use it, but there will no buses on Wednesdays.
Rebel Tutoring Sessions are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:25-4:25 pm. Snacks are immediately after school and bus transportation will be available, leaving THS at 4:30pm. Students will be able to make-up tests, work with computers, do research and homework in the Library, and there will be sessions for tutoring in math, science, and english.
Instructors working as tutors and paid by century 21 include Kara Porter, Teresa Muncy, Gail Holley, and Roger Spry. Several instructors stay at various times without pay and they include Choral Director Mrs. Dick, Band Director Mr. Amis, Mrs. Holland for Drama, and Chief Brown for JROTC.
